Henry’s CSA: Good for you and the Earth!

  • Why Join Henry's CSA

You’re helping to save the earth one delicious bite at a time!

When you join Henry’s CSA, you are fighting against the current high-consumption, high-waste civilization that is ravaging our planet. Simply by eating real food grown in a truly sustainable and regenerative way, you become an important link in a circle of health that encompasses not only you and your family, but my farm, our community, our local environment, and ultimately our entire planet. Eating my delicious and highly nutritious food makes you healthier, and it also makes my farm healthier. And my healthy farm makes the larger ecosystem surrounding it healthier, and that makes our entire planet healthier. And it all starts with YOU and each forkful of good vegetables you eat.

p.s. It’s a great deal, too! Not only are we the least expensive CSA around, but our 26-week season is one of the longest in the Midwest. So make sure to compare the per-week cost when comparing CSAs.

  • What You Get

Incredibly delicious, just-picked-that-morning vegetables for 26 weeks, starting the last Tuesday in May and ending the middle of November.

The selection of produce varies from week to week based on the season and weather, but every Tuesday you‘ll fill your bag or box to overflowing with 7-9 different vegetables at their peak of flavor and nutrition.

Best taste and highest nutritional value. We grow only the best-tasting varieties and food scientists have shown that Taste = Nutrition!

We use no GMOs, Pesticides, Herbicides, or Synthetic Fertilizers. We strive to keep fossil fuel and plastic usage at a minimum and most of our electricity comes from our solar panels.

Convenient Weekly Pick-ups of super-fresh and delicious vegetables. The produce we hand-pick Tuesday morning is in your hands that evening, after traveling 20 miles or less to reach your table.

Henry's Farm Cookbook, full of time-tested recipes, simple, and delicious recipes, arranged alphabetically with a page for every vegetable we grow, from Arugula to Winter Squa

Seasons of Change on Henry's Farm, an award-winning documentary film by Ines Summer. You'll get a link for a free online screening. Deborah Madison (author of Vegetable Literacy) calls it "spectacular and memorable . . . a very important film . . . Watch it!"
